Parsimoni to demonstrate its SpaceOS in orbit on Clustergate-1

February 11, 2025

Lausanne, Switzerland / Pau/Toulouse , France – February 11, 2025 – DPhi Space, a Swiss company offering Clustergate, a ride-sharing platform for hosted payloads, and Parsimoni, a French satellite software developer of SpaceOS, an advanced unikernel-based Secure By Design operating system, are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership to demonstrate SpaceOS onboard the maiden flight of Clustergate on the Transporter-13 mission from SpaceX.

Parsimoni’s SpaceOS is a unikernel-based operating system that enhances the efficiency, security, and manageability of space payloads. By launching aboard Clustergate-1, Parsimoni will validate SpaceOS in an operational environment, showcasing its capabilities for optimizing mission performance and secure in-orbit computing.

“Parsimoni’s decision to use Clustergate-1 underscores the flexibility and accessibility of our platform for software and hardware hosted payloads,” said Aziz Belkhiria, CEO of DPhi Space. “We designed Clustergate to enable rapid deployment of any conventional software on a space computer, and we are excited to see SpaceOS take advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate its unique approach to secure and efficient payload management.”

“Deploying SpaceOS on Clustergate-1 is a crucial milestone for us,” said Miklos Tomka, CEO of Parsimoni. “Our goal is to provide a new level of security and efficiency for space software, and this mission will allow us to prove our technology in a real-world scenario. This partnership is a major step in shaping the future of space exploration and data innovation."

This demonstration marks a significant step toward more efficient and secure space operations, enabling Parsimoni’s customers to integrate SpaceOS across a wide range of satellite platforms. Clustergate-1 serves as an initial testbed, with the technology designed for seamless deployment on various missions, including those utilizing DPhi Space’s infrastructure.
